For all the crazy that goes on in tags, fandoms, dashboards and asks, this past week has proven to me tumblr will always be my favorite social media site.

I’ve had a rough week and a half. My best friend has been MIA since she started her “business”. I type that word bitterly because it’s not a business, she’s been scammed and is doing the same to others. My other best friend also is dealing with relationship issues, but she’s been so supportive, and I love her.

Tumblr turned out to be the support network I didn’t expect. For all the flailing we do, there are actual caring people behind those avatars. So when I needed it most, I had people to listen, advise, and comfort. I can’t tell you how much that saved me from getting worse. I may never meet these wonderful people face to face, but I’m not sure that matters anymore.

God I love this website.

OK now back to inappropriately shipping two real people, describing what they would do in a tent with people sleeping nearby.
